Fun and Games (Tag: Eris)

Dimentio smirked hiding behind the statue as his eyes caught sight of the green clad man in the distance, it would be no time at all now before the trap was sprung.

Luigi knew that going out alone was stupid, but he needed to clear his head. Besides he could always raid some buildings on the way back to the theater to make himself useful. Kida's news that Dimentio had joined the enforcers was shocking and worrisome, though he was sure that the jester was just using the other group for his own ends like before. The hairs on the back of his neck stood up as he approached the fountain having a bad feeling that he was being watched. "Who's..there!?" He asked looking in all directions for any sign of other people or enemies.

Luigi grew spectacle at that looking the woman up and down. He hadn't thought he was being rude about it, but perhaps he had been unintentionally. "Nobody, being watched makes me uncomfortable. You would be too wouldn't you?" He asked tone still too nervous for his likely, there was something odd about this woman even he could tell that.

Dimentio had to hold back a snicker at Eris' words knowing that it was a bold faced lie, and Luigi's nervousness was so obvious that the jester couldn't help but smirk. He would let his ally have a little more fun before making his own little entrance.

Luigi shook his head quickly. "No..nothing wrong with you." Great he had insulted a possibly dangerous woman, just what he needed at the moment. Backing up as she came closer, and more toward the fountain the green clad man suddenly the overwhelming urge to run away. Taking the chance that he wouldn't be able to outrun her not knowing if she had any powers like most people that had survived. He turned and ran all of five feet before finding himself trapped in a clear box face dropping even more in the process. "Dimentio.." Luigi said his voice a mix of fright and anger.

"Don't you know it's rude to run out on a lady, Luigi?" Dimentio said appearing in a flash with a grin on his face.

Dimentio chuckled as Luigi backed up as far as his prison would allow him. "What do you two want with me?" He asked trying to put on a brave tone though he was feeling about as far from brave as it seemed possible to get. "Well to have fun of course. See I didn't think you'd be the one to survive Iblis' destruction. Color me surprised." The jester stated as Luigi glared at him, though at the moment he was a little more worried about the fact that Eris was a goddess, something he had never fought against before. At least with Dimentio he knew at least what to expect somewhat at least.

"Yes, but not as a he is now of course." Dimentio added knowing that the green clad man would get what he was implying. "I defeated you once before Dimentio! I'll do it again!" Luigi replied his voice switching from fright to anger knowing that the jester was talking about his time as Mr. L. "No, I merely let you win. Your brother was the one that 'defeated' me, but he's not here now is he? Probably bit the dust when Iblis destroyed everybody else we knew." The jester added noticing the green electricity that was starting to erupt from Luigi's hands that were clenched in fists.

"Mario's not dead, you leave him out of this." Luigi practically growled out the sentence not noticing the sparks that were charging up in his fists due to the angry desperation to get Dimentio to stop and leave him alone. His fear temporarily forgotten at least for the moment. Of course the fact that Dimentio would imply that his older brother was dead was not something he would ever accept.

"Well perhaps if a little more of that power arises, but at the current level no." Dimentio added ever confident that his abilities were superior, although perhaps that was a bit of the jester's arrogance starting to show. Luigi meanwhile wanted to wipe that smug smirk of the jester's face, sure he wasn't as strong as his brother, but he was getting better! Or at least he had thought so before this whole incident. "What do you say Luigi? Perhaps you want more power, or survival. Your little freedom fighters will be wiped out by us eventually. Best to be on the winning side yes?"

Did Dimentio really think he would just join the evil side of his own free will? Luigi shook his head eyes narrowed to slits in reaction to it letting his facial expression be his answer. "Well that's a shame, and here I was hoping we could be friends again." The jester stated seeming to pout a bit.

"No point in sticking to ideals when it gets you killed. After all you were a better villain then a hero." Dimentio added his own words to Eris' the smile still present. "I'd rather die then join you." Luigi snapped back at both of his tormentors not caring about the consequences of doing so. The jester's smile stayed though his eyes narrowed in response. "That can be arranged." The threat however was not followed through on as he turned his head at the last moment noticing a flash of a blade out of the corner of his eye.

"Did you have to make it cold like that?" Dimentio asked the jester didn't care much for the cold, but the bird seemed to have things handled. Then again there was always the chance for error anyway. He only confidence in his own abilities and not so much in others.

Luigi watched the bird dive at the woman hoping that she wouldn't get hurt. The last thing he wanted was someone to get hurt or die helping him. He had to get out of this stupid box. While Dimentio wasn't watching him he started concentrating on summoning his Thunderhand power.

"Well looks like your pet bit off a little more then he could chew." Dimentio added not resist the chance to be a little smug, although he had no room to say anything. Suddenly turning as he heard a loud crackling sound looking as Luigi used the electricity he had built up in his hand smashing against the box's wall. The jester gave a menacing look as it flicked enough for his prisoner to escape, if he hadn't have been distracted it wouldn't have made as much of an effect.

Luigi landed on his feet surprised that it had worked, but still glad that he had waited for the right moment to escape. The look on the jester's face was mildly terrifying though. "That was a fluke you won't be so lucky next time!" Dimentio stated his tone serious and too the point all the humor was gone. Truth was the jester was ticked off that he had made such an error.

"Why do you care? Is it not in your better interest and wellfare to mind your own business?" Dimentio asked keeping his eyes on both Mikasa and Luigi, noticing Eris was watching instead. Though he supposed he would have done the thing given the chance, though the jester wasn't intimidated by the fact he was slightly outnumbered.

Keeping his Thunderfist at the ready for any sudden movements that Dimentio made Luigi stepped further away from the jester and more toward the woman who had decided to help him. He would have to thank her properly after this was all over.

Clearly this had lost it's amusement a bit as Dimentio shrugged his shoulders. "Well you're no fun at all." He replied unphased by the woman's threats. "Though I suppose it's time I take my leave for now. See you again Luigi. Ciao" The jester replied with a wave of his hand and a grin on his face.

Luigi flinched slightly at the thinly veiled threat as the jester disappeared with a flash of light. Letting go a breath that he hadn't realized he had been holding the green-clad man felt a little more comfortable now that Dimentio had turned tail and ran before trying to fight.

Luigi started to walk after her, but wasn't following far. "Thank you for helping me miss." He called out quickly not knowing what else to say other then that. She had risked her life for a complete stranger and that meant she couldn't be anything like some of the other people that were still around lately.

Luigi frowned slightly when she was looking for her brother it reminded him of his own. Not having a clue where your family was terrible, and he knew that from experience. "I would gladly help you." He volunteered knowing he owed her, and though he didn't know how helpful he would be in the search he could certainly try.

"If I find either one of them I will tell them you are looking for them. I'll tell my friends about them too, with more of us looking I'm sure we'll find them." Luigi responded trying to keep positive with so much negativity lately he had to be for the sake of cheering others up. Besides he was trying to forget the near-death experience had with the two Enforcers moments ago.
