Mystique ignored the pain on her arm letting the spear go. She flipped back and jumped on top of a commercial truck. She rubbed her head where she was hit by Kida's head. "Well I can see why Iblis missed you now. But I wonder....why fight against him? Wouldn't it be better to work for him and rebuild your people?"

Kida glared at Mystique in suspicion, "How would working for him help rebuild my people?" she asked warily. She still wanted vengeance, but... she was willing to listen to what Mystique had to offer.

Mystique smirked as she stood up straight looking at Kida. "Think about it. The weak have died and only the strong have survived. Iblis is gathering the strongest to create a new world. One where we all are strong. Come and join us and a new Atlantis will be born. One where strong warriors like you will rise."

Kida eyed her warily, "And the weak amongst my own people? How will they fare in this new world of yours?" she asked as she lowered her spear.

Mystique smirked as she crossed her arms looking down at Kida. "They will have their uses. But why worry about small details. Come with me and we will help you bring back your people."

Kida glared at Mystique, not appreciating her answer, the old, infirm, and young who couldn't take care of themselves were highly protected and valued in her culture. She would never allow them to be "used" by the likes of Iblis, "Not happening," she answered. "I'll protect them without your help."

Mystique did not appreciate the answer given by Kida and crossed her arms. "Fine then if you will not join us then you shall die like the rest of your people." She jumped off the truck and threw a kick at Kida's head.

Kida ducked the kick and grabbed Mystique's ankle, throwing her to the ground, "Careful, bitch. I won't die so easily," Kida hissed as she brought her blade down on Mystique.

Mystique screamed a little feeling the blade go in her shoulder. She kicked Kida off and pulled the blade out. "Neither am I?" She jumped on top of her and using her own blade plunged the blade towards her.

Kida dodged, crying out as the blade sliced into her arm instead of into her heart. She lashed out and kneed Mystique in the stomach as she grasped the blade and elbowed Mystique, aiming for her jaw once more.

Mystique blocked the elbow twice in the jaw was good enough for her. Using her knee she kneed Kida in her stomach. She flipped back pulling out a small ball from her boot. "Until another day girl." She threw the ball in front of Kida. The small then leak out knock out gas. Mystique took this chance to run off.

Kida gasped in pain when Mystique kneed her where she'd already been wounded. She tried to stand up, but the knock out gas was getting to her, and she stumbled, falling unconscious to the ground.
