Kida walked down the street absent-mindedly, wondering if she should truly join the so-called freedom fighters or not. She knew she would never join Iblis, especially not after her encounter with Mystique, but should she really join a cause she didn't even believe in? She was only here for vengeance and to protect her own, not to save the world , but heading after Iblis totally on her own was foolishness. She sighed, knowing her decision wouldn't only affect her, but also those she cared for.

Dimentio recognized the woman from before and grinned slightly as he floated closer to her. "You look indecisive. Anything I can help with?" The jester asked with a grin on his face not actually using his normal startling entry this time around. Besides he actually kind of liked this human after all.

Kida eyed him carefully, wondering who he worked for, if he worked for anyone at all, "Perhaps... I can't seem to make up my mind about whether or not I should help a group of... acquaintances," she admitted. "They're invested in trying to do much more than I ever would be willing to, yet I may need their help to reach my own end goal."

"Well that's easy, if you could use them do so. If you don't use everything at your disposal to achieve your goals, then you aren't serious about them plain and simple." Dimentio responded using his own thoughts and opinions on it, after all he was good at manipulating others for his own ends.

Kida grinned at him, "You make it sound so simple... But honestly I think you may be right," she agreed with him. "As long as they're helpful to me, I can afford to be helpful to them occasionally too. Of course, if it comes between choosing them or choosing my own goal, I'll choose my goal each and every time. I guess... I just felt bad using them, but in reality aren't we all using each other anyway?" she asked quietly as she looked up to him.

"Ahh, a girl after my own heart. That's exactly the point, we all have to use everything we can. Our goals come first, trying to selfless only gets you hurt or killed. Then you get stuck with regret if you live long enough after a bad choice in judgement." Dimentio replied knowing there had been a reason why he had liked this one, they seemed to think very similar about certain things. Which was all the better even though he had a feeling they were both choosing different sides.

Kida laughed and nodded, "Isn't that the truth. And if I die, I won't be the only one affected by it. I can't afford to risk my life for anything other than my own goals. I'm only human after all. I only have a limited amount of time and energy that I can give and I don't think they really understand that."

"I doubt you'll be one of the warriors to fall. You at least have sense unlike most of the others that still live. Such a shame that the naive and stupid lived through Iblis' destruction. Although as little sense as it makes, there must always be pawns for the intelligent to use in their favor." Dimentio mused outloud grinning slightly.

Kida couldn't help the wry smile that crossed her face, "You sound a lot like someone else I know. A blue-skinned woman with bright red hair, have you met her?" she asked in curiosity, also hoping to get a sense of her friend's loyalties.

"I believe I have seen her, though honestly I don't care much for her." Dimentio added vaguely adding his opinion figuring that she was slowly figuring out his own loyalties, but at this point she had made up her mind it seemed. Besides it wasn't like he could change her mind to side with them, though it would be nice to have another ally, having one of similar mind on the opposite side would make things more entertaining for him.

Kida nodded and grinned, "Good, me neither," she agreed heartily. It was truly a pity she liked him so much. He didn't seem the type to join the "heroes". Kida didn't really mind so much though. He doesn't necessarily seem the type to follow something like Iblis blindly either, so maybe after everything dies down... who knows? she thought to herself with a grin.

"I wish you luck with your path, and if we happen to meet on the battlefield I look forward to the challenge." Dimentio stated with a smile on his face, though he didn't think it would happen anytime in the near future, it was bound to happen eventually. "Oh, and do give those Freedom Fighters of yours a nice hello for me. I believe at least one of them will remember me, we go back a good ways after all." He added with a smirk having know that was where she was heading anyway.

Kida looked up in shock, before laughing at his audacity, "I'll make sure to do that. I wish you luck as well. And hope that we may meet once all of this is over, as well as on the battlefield... And greet Mystique for me then, will you?" she asked with a dark grin.

Dimentio chuckled slightly. "I look forward to it, and don't worry I'll give her your greeting as well."

Kida smirked, "Thanks." She had long walked past the old movie theater, but she found she preferred Dimentio's company over that of the group gathered there, so she didn't mind one bit.

"I suppose I better get back to the group wouldn't them to think I'm conversing with the enemy after all." The jester gave a chuckle actually finding that she had more intelligence then at least half of his supposed 'allies' though he found the term loose. "Such a shame we are on opposite sides for now, but as soon as Iblis falls or triumphs we'll have to see."

Kida nodded her agreement, "Most definitely... and I suppose I wouldn't want those 'heroes' to think I'm a traitor to their so called 'righteous' cause either," she added with a small grin. She found their self-appointed heroics to be just as loosely based in reality as Dimentio found the term 'allies' to be.

"Well then I believe this is farewell for now." Dimentio responded figuring that he had already spent a good amount of time to cause the rest to start inquiring about his whereabouts. Though he would feel no real compelling reason to tell them the whole truth. "For now my lady. Ciao." He finished given a small bow before disappearing. He would remember the conversation with Kida quite fondly.

Kida bowed her head in acknowledgement of his farewell, "Until we meet again, sir," she agreed. She looked up as he disappeared, actually missing his presence already. She knew no one else on the team of "Freedom Fighters" would be able to understand her quite so well. She sighed and turned back towards the movie theater, walking a bit slower than perhaps she should. But she wanted the feeling of this walk to linger as long as possible.

OOC: Switching Characters. Having been inside and completely missing the conversation or even then presence of the jester before he had dissappeared. Still though Luigi had gotten a bad feeling compelling him to venture out of the movie theater all the same. Recognizing the white haired woman as one of the people that had been at the Freedom Fighters first meeting. Then again how would he forget somebody that pointed a spear at him? "Um, hi." Luigi voiced still not knowing what to think of Kida just yet.

- - Kida raised a brow, "Hi," she responded simply. She wasn't entirely sure what to make of Luigi yet either. He seemed a little too... innocent. But she wouldn't make assumptions about him just yet. He at least deserved a chance, she supposed. "Something you wanted?" she asked.

"No I just had a bad feeling is all, and wanted to make sure nobody was hurt. With all those Enforcers around you can never be to careful right?" Luigi added still looking around the area thinking he had seen a flash earlier, but not seeing anything now. He had a bad sense of deja vu when he had noticed it. Though he hoped it was only his imagination, "You're okay right?"

Kida nodded with a wry smile, "Yes, I'm fine. Though you're right, we should be careful of those 'evil' Enforcers. Perhaps we should hurry back to the safety of the movie theater?" she asked, teasing him gently. She wondered just how he'd react if he knew she'd been conversing with an Enforcer just before he'd arrived.

Luigi felt better as ease recognizing a teasing tone that reminded him somewhat of when he and his brother used to tease each other. "Yeah safer in numbers after all." He added though he would have recognized said enforcer that she had talked to having been the source of a good amount nightmares a few years back. "So are you joining us for sure now?" He asked figuring that was why she had returned, but there was the chance that she was there to decline as well.

Kida nodded, barely restraining a smile at the irony of an Enforcer convincing her to join the Freedom Fighters, but kept her amusement to herself, "Yes, I will be joining you for certain now," she responded. She figured she'd give Dimentio's greeting once they were back inside the movie theater.

"Great!" Luigi added glad that she had decided to stay with them, although he didn't know her well she seemed like she would be a great asset to the team all the same. Entering back into the theater with one last scan for enemies the green clad man stepped inside.

Kida grinned as she stepped inside and sat down on one of the old moth-eaten seats, "Are you really so happy I joined? You hardly even know me," she commented in slight amusement, before she grinned, "And I almost forgot, a being named Dimentio sends his regards."

What he was about to say to the first statement died in his throat at the mention of the jester's name. Luigi shivered slightly wishing he had heard that wrong, but somehow that didn't seem to be his kind of luck. He couldn't be here, couldn't be not that evil, conniving jester. "When?..Where did you run into him?" He asked voice shaky although he tried to hide it, but was failing miserable at it.

Kida eyed him in sudden interest, "So you're the one he was talking about?" she asked as she sat up a little straighter, "We were chatting outside here," she admitted, not particularly caring what he thought of it, but even more interested in his reaction now that she knew these two were somehow connected.

Well the fact that Dimentio knew he was here made his heart race in fright and the fact that he had left the message for him in specific was enough to make his heart speed up. "You can't trust him. He's a manipulative liar, and he'll use anybody and anything to his advantage. If he was talking to you then there is some motive for it." Luigi replied his voice serious though still holding the fear from before, but he had to make her understand that she wouldn't want anything to do with the demented jester.
